What is a shipping label generator?
A shipping label generator is a tool that produces the printed label you attach to a parcel before sending it through a courier, postal service, or freight company. The label typically contains two addresses (sender and recipient), a tracking number, weight and package dimensions, and often a barcode for automated scanning during transit.
This tool creates a clean, courier-ready label directly in your browser. You don't need to install any software, create an account, or upload your shipping details to a third-party server. Everything stays on your device — which is especially important when you're handling customer data for a small business.
Built for global shippers
Shipping isn't the same everywhere. A label that works for a US warehouse shipping domestic FedEx doesn't automatically work for a seller in Germany shipping to France, or an Etsy seller in India shipping to the UK. This tool adapts to your country, currency, and unit preferences.

How to use the shipping label generator
- Pick your country, currency, and unit system at the top.
- Upload a logo (optional) and pick an accent color.
- Enter the sender details. Name or business, full address, phone, and optional email.
- Enter the recipient details. Double-check the ZIP or postal code.
- Fill in package details — weight, dimensions, pieces, reference, declared value, HS code, and contents.
- Add a COD amount if applicable.
- Set a tracking number or use a carrier preset to auto-generate one.
- Pick a barcode format and QR code content.
- Enable handling marks for safe transit.
- Download PDF, print, or add more recipients in Batch Mode.

Tips for printing a professional label
1. Use a laser or thermal printer
Inkjet prints can smudge when exposed to rain or rough handling. Laser and thermal printers produce crisp, water-resistant results.
2. Print at 100% scale
Never use "fit to page" — the barcode must print at the correct physical size to scan properly.
3. Match the paper size
Use A4 in most countries, US Letter in North America, and 4×6 thermal for high-volume sellers.
4. Check customs paperwork
For international shipments, always include HS codes, contents, and country of origin. Missing details lead to customs delays.
5. Cover the whole label
Never tape over just part of the label. Water can seep under the edges and damage the barcode.
6. Keep a copy
Save a PDF of every label. If something goes wrong, you have proof of what was sent.
